District Enrollment Information

What School Should Your Student be Attending:

Student Transfers: If you live outside the Junction City School District, as a non-resident, your student may apply to attend one of our schools by completing a Student Transfer Application during the month of March.

Openings available are declared by school and grade level, and priority is given to non-resident students who are currently on an approved Inter-District Transfer.

Interested non-resident students must fill out the Junction City School District Student Transfer Application form (The form is available from the websites the beginning of March to the beginning of April.) Completed forms are submitted to the Junction City School District office by deadline date noted on the form. Accepted applicants are notified the beginning of May.

Inter-District Transfers: (2019-2020 School Year - Inter-District transfers will be on hold until discussions with Open Enrollment are complete.)

New requests will be approved from District A to District B only if there is available space at the requested school, the request falls within the number District A has declared to accept, and the number District B has declared to release.

An Inter-District form must be filled out to attend a Junction City School through an Inter-District transfer. The form is available at the district office located at, 325 Maple Street. Or, you can click below for an online form to print and fill out. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students in DHS Foster Care:  ORS 339.133 For students in DHS Child Welfare care and custody, the student will continue to attend the school district/school of origin. It is only with a Best Interest Finding, made by the Juvenile Court, that foster students will transition from the school district/school of origin to the school district where the foster home is located.
