Music With Mrs. Adams

LET IT SNOW!
Oh, the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful,
And since we’ve no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Oh, it doesn’t show signs of stopping
and I’ve brought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

When we finally hug goodnight, how I’ll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I’ll be warm.

Oh, the fire is slowly dying and my dear, we’re still goodbyeing.
But as long as you love me so,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

JINGLE BELLS
Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go, laughing all the way.
Bells on bobtail ring, making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight.

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh.

A day or two ago, I thought I’d take a ride
And soon Miss Fannie Bright was seated by my side.
The horse was lean and lank misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a drifted bank and then we got upsot

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh,
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh.

SLEIGH RIDE
Just hear those sleigh bells jingleing, ring, ting, tingleing, too.
Come on it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.
Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling “Yoo hoo,”
Come on, it’s loverly weather for a sleigh ride together with you.

Giddyyap, giddyyap, giddyyap, let’s go, let’s look at the show.
We’re riding in a wonderland of snow.
Giddyyap, giddyyap, giddyyap, it’s grand, just holding your hand.
We’re gliding along with a song of a wintery fairyland.

Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy cozy are we,
We’re snuggled up together like two birds of a feather would be.
Let’s take that road before us and sing a chorus or two.
Come on it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you

WINTER WONDERLAND
Sleigh bells ring, are you list’nin? In the lane, snow is glis’tnin.
A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight
walkin’ in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird, here to stay is a new bird.
He sings a snow song, as we go along,
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland!

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown,
He’ll say are you happy? We’ll say, “Yes, man!
We’re glad to see that you are back in town.”
Later on, we’ll retire as we dream by the fire,
Of games that we played and mem’ries we made,
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland!

Repeat (Sleighbells ring..............)

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
and pretend that he’s a circus clown,
We’ll have lots of fun with Mister Snowman,
Until the other kiddies knock’im down!
When it snows, ain’t it thrillin’,
tho your nose gets a chillin’?
We’ll frolic and play the Eskimo way.
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland.
