Everyday Fundraisers at Laurel

At Laurel, we are trying to do as much as we can to make up for losses in school funding. Please review these easy fundraising programs to determine if you are able to assist our endeavors. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

  • Cell phone and printer cartridge recycling: We collect ALL brands of cell phones and printer cartridges in conjunction with the Green School Project. This company sends us funds for each item we collect and send to them. There is a collection box at the office for this purpose.
  • Boxtops for Education: All General Mills products have a coupon labeled "Boxtops for Education." These are worth money to our schools! Please send these in as soon and as often as possible.
  • Campbell's Soup Labels: These are redeemed for play equipment for our students.
  • Target Take Back Education: If you open (or already have) a Target Visa card, they contribute 1% of every purchase made with your card at Target stores and .5% of purchases made at other stores to a school you designate. Hopefully, you will designate Laurel Elementary!
  • Office Depot 5% Back to Schools: Whenever you shop at Office Depot and give our school's ID#70083879, we receive credits equal to 5% of the qualifying purchases at any Office Depot. With these credits, our school can earn FREE supplies.
  • OfficeMax MaxPerks: If you shop at OfficeMax, please give them Laurel's ID#011015964. Our school earns credits for monetary deductions from supply orders.
  • WaMoola For Schools: Washington Mutual customers who choose to designate Laurel Elementary to support earn points for our school when they make purchases with their Washington Mutual Visa check card. At the end of the year, the points are converted to dollars and a check will be delivered to Laurel!
  • Cookie Wrapper and Capri Sun Drink Pouch Brigades: To do our part in keeping our planet clean, as well as to earn a little money, Laurel School is teaming up with TerraCycle. We will receive 2¢ for every Nabisco cookie wrapper or Capri Sun drink pouch we collect. We will receive 1¢ for other brands of drink pouches. Collection boxes are at the Laurel office. TerraCycle is going to convert the used drink pouches and cookie wrappers into unique fashion  bags, tote bags, and pencil cases for kids and adults. Please check the TerraCycle web site for complete information on what can be recycled and the products they make.
  • Supplies Donations: We can always use funds for supplies that we need during the school year. These are tax deductible and are recognized at the district level. You will receive a letter from the District Office confirming your donation for tax purposes.

Thank you to all of Laurel's contributors and supporters!
